Student Recitals

BAMTA is sponsoring 2 student recitals this year, one on Saturday, November 1st @ 3:30 PM @ Balfour Retirement Community. (See back for directions). The other recital will be Sunday afternoon April 12^th @ 3PM @ Harvest Baptist Church.

     This is an opportunity for teachers with small studios to take part in a larger recital. It is a chance for your students who would like additional performance opportunities such as trying out a duet before Multiple Piano Festival auditions to play in front of others.  Students should be at least 5 and no older than 18 years of age. 

Please contact me at least one week prior to the event with the following information for each performer:

It is recommended that pieces by memorized (unless they are duets or chamber works).  Be sure students are briefed on guidelines listed below. 

Students

1. Afternoon concert attire
2. Students should bow after performing.
3. Please arrive 15 minutes early

Audience

1. Other than crying babies, who should be taken out immediately, please wait until between performances to step out of the hall.
2. Silence all beepers and cell phones.
3. Please wait until after the recital to use flash photography.
