How to become a Member

Becoming a member of the Boulder Area Music Teachers Association is easy and rewarding. New members join through our parent organization, the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), and select BAMTA as their local association during registration. Membership includes automatic enrollment in MTNA, the Colorado State Music Teachers Association (CSMTA), and BAMTA—connecting you to a vibrant network of music educators at the local, state, and national levels.

Annual dues are as follows: $35 for BAMTA, $45 for CSMTA, and $104 for MTNA, totaling $184 each year. These dues support access to professional development, student events, teacher certification resources, and a strong community of fellow educators. Collegiate Membership is available at a discounted price and is open to all college students currently enrolled in music study.

Whether you’re an experienced teacher or just starting out, BAMTA offers opportunities for connection, growth, and meaningful involvement.
