Dr. Ishikawa sees teaching piano as a process of guiding students through experiences whereby they discover musical concepts. Brenda utilizes the skills of playing by ear, harmonizing, improvising, transposing, reading and technique in the learning process. She offers numerous performance opportunities to students, and has herself concertized throughout the United States and abroad.
