Amy Watt runs a piano studio out of her home in Superior, CO. With over 25 years of teaching, she offers 45 and 60 min weekly lessons to all ages and levels. By providing tools needed in learning this art, Amy’s goal is to help the students develop their full potential and use their imagination as well as having fun playing piano. This consists of teaching a variety of styles along with the addition of theory, technique, improvisation, composition and sight-reading and off-bench activities that include technology as well. It is important that music fit each student’s individual interests. Amy received her bachelor of music degree in piano performance from Portland State University, Oregon. She has been an active member and served in various positions on the BAMTA board and is currently serving as the VP of outreach and student activities as well as serving as mentorship on the CSMTA state board. She is a member of MTNA, CSMTA, BAMTA and NFMC.
