I stress good reading skills and musicianship at all levels, and bring my experience as an improvisor and composer to my teaching. Besides piano pieces in many styles and genres, including two albums of “New Age” solos, I compose many choral works for the 30-voice community choir I founded and direct, Musica Aeterna Chorus. In recent years, I have greatly enjoyed composing ballet music for the Boulder Ballet, including “The Winter Flower” and “The Little Matchgirl”.
